What information do we collect and how do we use it?
We do not store any data on anonymous users, with the exception of a session record to keep track of your language preferences and help you navigate the site. The session store is cleared regularly.
Under the current measures against the spread of the coronavirus, the choir is required to provide contact details for certain activities involving an external organiser. These contact details (name and e-mail address) are for the sole purpose of contact tracing. The LUK assumes that data intended for contact tracing will be processed correctly by this third party. The LUK is under no circumstances responsible for any form of misuse of these contact details.
Your information is secure
Your information is only accessible by board members and website staff of the Leuven University Choir. All of your personal information is stored on a server used exclusively by the Leuven University Choir, and all backups are stored fully encrypted to ensure the safety of your data. We enforce strict multi-factor authentication for all staff members whenever users’ private data is involved.
If you order tickets through our online reservation tool, we store your name, email address and preferred language of communication. This information is only used to identify you at the venue, and to contact you with information related to your reservations. If you explicitly opt in, we may contact you about future events and concerts we are involved with. Otherwise, your contact information will be deleted as soon as we no longer require it.
We do not store your booking history long-term. Any aggregate data we record will not be linked to your contact information.
