Intro
After Muted and The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, it is once again time to put the Christmas tradition on our programme. With ‘Sol Invictus’ – the Unconquered Sun – we celebrate the return of light. It is a new beginning, the dark winter days are lengthening and we immerse ourselves in an atmosphere of warmth and solidarity, which is precisely the Christmas message. We bring this message to you with music by Bach, Rheinberger, Rachmaninoff and others. Enjoy Sol Invictus, where a beautiful mystery can emerge from a hopeful silence.
